After six years of working alongside the Little Heroes Foundation as the Club’s charity partner the Woodville West Torrens Football Club is excited to announce we are teaming up with a new charity partner in 2018, the Light The Way Foundation.
Established by Zorich Group in 2017, Light The Way Foundation will help the disadvantaged youth of South Australia dream and believe in the pursuit of such dreams. Light The Way Foundation functions to reward, recognise and foster individuals under the age of 21 through scholarships that model a commitment to creating inspiration within their local community to further their academic, sporting, artistic, musical pursuits or any other dream they so desire.
“We are extremely excited to be partnering up with the Woodville West Torrens Football Club as their charity partner in 2018,” said Light The Way Foundation Chairman Tom Zorich. “Having the Club’s support is an amazing validation for the foundation and we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership.”
“The Club has had some great times supporting Little Heroes Foundation on such ventures as the New York Marathon and the recent Kokoda Trek which were very successful in raising valuable funds for the foundation” said Woodville West Torrens General Manager of Commercial Operations Chris Branson. “We now look forward to teaming up with Light The Way Foundation and their support of the disadvantaged youth of South Australia.”
The inagural Light The Way Foundation Gala Ball is being held on Saturday 17th February, 7pm at Adelaide Oval in the Ian McLachlan Room. $150 per person includes two course meal, drinks package & entertainment with major auctions, door prizes and raffles to be won.
