Woodville West Torrens Football Club

Football Development - Eagles Healthy Goals

Eagles Healthy Goals Program is an initiative instigated by the Club and developed by Paul Lindsay and designed to support teachers and compliment existing curriculum by using a role model approach and implementing an in-schools health and activity program. The program targets at increasing physical activity levels of school aged students in our allocated zones. The program uses entertaining generic games that sway to physical activity emphasising teamwork, co-operation, goal setting, confidence and self esteem. The program encourages students to embrace a better lifestyle by encompassing awareness on issues such as nutrition, alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse and the effect that has on kids their future and well being. It is pleased to report Luke Jarrad and Jacob Fuller have seen 5150 primary school children up to the start of August this year, which is only the third year that the program has been in operation. 'David Brooks - The Good Guys' continue to proudly support the program and for that the Woodville West Torrens Football Club are extremely grateful.
