The Eagles invite all former West Torrens, Woodville and Woodville West Torrens players to help celebrate our new Club history.
The next home game against Sturt at Woodville Oval, on Saturday July3, will be a special day for the Club, combining a past players and officials gathering with the official launch of Best of Both Worlds, the story of the West Torrens, Woodville and Eagles Football Clubs.
The book, written by Peter Cornwall and David Burtenshaw, has already been hailed as one of the best publications produced about South Australian football.
It will be officially launched pre-match during the President’s Lunch (Tickets $55). Woodville legend Malcolm Blight and members of the 1945 and 1953 West Torrens premiership teams will be among the special guests.
Spread the word, get some old team-mates organised and come along to make it a day to remember.
