2026 Recruit: Ted Clohesy Lands At The Eagles

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club is thrilled to announce that Ted Clohesy will be joining the Eagles for the 2026 season.

Ted arrives with AFL experience at Geelong, playing 12 senior games over the past three years and developing a reputation for his competitive edge, strong running patterns, and team-first approach. At 184cm, he offers real versatility, capable of influencing the game through the midfield or across half-forward.

What really struck us throughout our conversations with Ted was his character. He’s grounded, hardworking, and eager to embrace the culture and direction we are building at the Eagles.

We also want to acknowledge former Eagle Mitch Hardie, who played a genuine role in helping us connect with Ted and sharing what makes our Club such a special environment. His support was invaluable in this process.

Ted, along with his partner Piper and their families, are excited to become part of the Eagles community. We’re just as excited to welcome them and see Ted pull on the Eagles guernsey next season.

This is a significant signing for our Club, and we can’t wait for you to see what Ted brings in 2026.
