Eagles Junior Footy Festival

On Sunday, 17 May, the Woodville West Torrens Football Club will host “The Eagles Junior Footy Festival – Where Futures Begin” at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.

This event will bring together over 65 junior teams from across the western suburbs, with participants ranging from Under 7 through to Under 17.5. It is a genuine celebration of junior football and community participation, all taking place in the heartland of the City of Charles Sturt.

The day will include:

• Junior Football Carnival (8:30am – 1:00pm)
• Under 16.5 Girls Match (1:30pm) – Port Districts v Henley
• Under 17.5 Boys Match (3:30pm) – Henley v Port Districts

In total, the day will see over 650 junior footballers participating at one venue, across one day, with expected attendance exceeding 3,500 people, including parents, siblings, and extended family members. It represents a significant demonstration of the strength, growth, and opportunity within community football in the western suburbs.

The Eagles Footy Festival is about participation, development, providing opportunity, and reinforcing our commitment as a Club to junior football.
