SANFL fans are well versed on Troy Menzel zigging and zagging out of traffic before snapping an eye-catching goal.
It is indicative of how his journey to 100 Hostplus SANFL League games has unfolded, given he made his senior debut as a 16-year-old in 2011.
Speaking on SANFL Radio, the Woodville-West Torrens premiership forward detailed his pride in reaching triple figures against Adelaide at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval on Sunday.
Starting his career with Central District, the club he barracked for throughout his childhood, Menzel featured in 44 AFL games for Carlton and Adelaide from 2013 to 2017.
After his delisting from the Crows, the 29-year-old decided to experience a change of pace with Tea Tree Gully in 2018.
It was there Menzel regained his love of the game as he booted 58 goals in 21 games while helping the Gullies to the Division 1 flag.
After heading back out to Elizabeth in 2019, Menzel was joined by his older brother Daniel in 2020.
But the pair opted for a change of scenery the next year, arriving at Oval Avenue to make an instant impact en route to helping the Eagles win the 2021 League premiership.
Now the landscape gardener is eager to help the Eagles snap their four-game losing streak with a win against the Crows to solidify their spot in the top five.
