2026 Recruit: Harper Montgomery Swoops In

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club is very pleased to announce the signing of Harper Montgomery for the 2026 SANFL season.

Harper is a composed, thoughtful defender who plays with real poise and footy intelligence. Standing at 187cm, he reads the game incredibly well and is a reliable user of the ball coming out of defence. He has progressed steadily through the North Adelaide pathway, building strong habits and showing maturity beyond his years.

He has also gained valuable exposure through the GWS Giants’ VFL program, where he experienced a high-performance environment that has helped shape his development. His small taste of SANFL league football through father-son eligibility has also broadened his understanding of what’s required at this level.

What impressed us most was Harper’s attitude – he’s driven, respectful, and genuinely eager to grow within the Eagles program. His approach to his football and his willingness to buy in made the decision an easy one.

We’re excited about what Harper can become and believe he will be a strong long-term contributor to our Club.
