TYSON STENGLE TO TRAIN WITH THE EAGLES

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club would like to confirm that as of this afternoon, Adelaide Crows player Tyson Stengle has been given permission to train with our Senior playing group.

In conjunction with the AFL, Adelaide Crows and Tyson’s management, an agreement has been made for Tyson to train with the Eagles Football Club until all matters surrounding Tyson’s playing future are settled.

CEO, Luke Powell has said “Tyson’s management approached our Club over the weekend in agreeance with the Adelaide Football Club about the possibility of Tyson coming to train with us. As Tyson is a junior product of our Club and an individual we care about, we agreed that the best possible scenario for Tyson’s wellbeing would to be in and around an environment that he has been familiar with and feels safe to be involved. Our playing group have welcomed the opportunity for Tyson and are fully supportive. Tyson knows that he is welcomed to be at the Club as much as he needs to be whilst his matters surrounding his future at the Adelaide Football Club have been resolved. We will support Tyson in any way we can.”

Tyson began training with the group tonight.
