Checkside Chats with Jade Sheedy and Jack Delean

It was a decision which surprised many outside of the Woodville-West Torrens Football Club.

Dual premiership coach Jade Sheedy cited ”burn out” when revealing that he wouldn’t continue at the helm beyond 2023.

Now, the former West End State mentor details when he arrived at the call to leave Oval Avenue on the latest episode of Checkside Chats.

The 43-year-old also reveals if he would entertain coaching at another SANFL club in the future, particularly Sturt, where he won a Magarey Medal and played in the 2002 premiership.

Jumping Jack Delean also makes an appearance on Checkside Chats after making an eye-catching Hostplus SANFL League debut in Round 15.

The South Adelaide teenager reveals his links to both South Australian AFL clubs – Adelaide and Port Adelaide – while confirming he has had interest from a number of clubs ahead of the AFL Draft in November.

The athletic Panthers forward, who models his game on Western Bulldog Cody Weightman, said he has been working on his fitness to play higher up the field on a wing while also honing in on improving his left-foot kick.
