“WWTFC can confirm that one of our players tested positive upon landing in Darwin on Friday. We can confirm that all players were tested under supervision prior to boarding the plane and all tested negative using Rapid Antigen Tests, however given the ever-changing situation around COVID and volatility, we were prepared and are working with government officials to ensure all procedures are adhered too. This player has not displayed any symptoms prior or during the flight, and is now in isolation away from the remainder of the playing group awaiting their PCR results which was conducted first thing this morning. We thank AFL NT and the NT Government for their support and guidance.”
