Leuzzi Swaps Nests

The Adelaide Crows have signed Christina Leuzzi from our SANFLW Eagles as a replacement player for the upcoming AFLW season.

The 21-year-old small defender/forward has enjoyed a stellar season with the Eagles, averaging 23 disposals, 7.3 clearances and 7.5 tackles across 10 SANFLW games in 2025. In April, she was named the SANFLW’s best player in the inaugural State Game against the VFLW. Leuzzi has spent the past two seasons as a train-on player for the Club and is a life-long Crows fan.

Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said Leuzzi has “really impressed” with her form in SANFLW and her time as a train-on player. “Christina has worked incredibly hard and taken her game to another level playing in the midfield for the Eagles this season,” Harper said. She has good skill, speed and power, and the ability to play across all three lines”.

“Christina is already familiar with our program and playing group, so she’ll be able to hit the ground running. We know she’s driven to make the most of this opportunity and help our group achieve team success this season.”

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club wish Christina a long and successful AFLW career.
