One Club, One Culture – with Eagles icon John Graham

West Torrens icon, John Graham, is a heart & soul Eagle. In this special interview, he gives his heartfelt insights and reflections on the journey to where the Woodville West Torrens Football Club is today.

John’s remarkable career with West Torrens spanned from 1961 to 1974, during which he played 203 SANFL League Games. Beyond his time on the field, John continued to serve West Torrens as a board member and administrator, and he remains an active and passionate member of the West Torrens Past Players group today.

This video is part of our ongoing effort to celebrate the rich history of both the West Torrens and Woodville Football Clubs, whose merger in 1990 formed the Woodville West Torrens Football Club we proudly support today. Under the banner of “One Club, One Culture,” we are committed to honouring and re-engaging the traditions and legacies of both clubs. John’s reflections offer a deep insight into the values and spirit that have defined our journey over the past 12 months, and I encourage you all to take a few moments to watch this heartfelt piece.

In keeping with our commitment to celebrating our combined history, we will soon be sharing another video featuring Woodville Past Player Des O’Dwyer. Des’s story is an integral part of our Club’s heritage, and I’m sure you will find it equally inspiring.

Thank you for your unwavering support of the Woodville West Torrens Football Club. Together, we continue to build on the proud legacies of West Torrens and Woodville, united as one club with a shared culture and vision for the future.
