The Under 18s had a loss to Glenelg on Saturday going down by 6 points at ACH Stadium.  Glenelg opened well into the breeze and despite us having 7 shots on goal for just the one major, Glenelg were very efficient and controlled much of the quarter,  kicking 5 goals 1 point to take a 19 point lead into the break.

Our next 3 quarters were much better as we got back into the contest and facing a 13 point deficit at three quarter time and kicking into the breeze we faced a challenge but we battled away well.  We  kicked the first 2 goals of the quarter to draw level before a see sawing last 20 minutes saw both teams  exchange goals with the Tigers kicking their last one and the match winner late in the quarter to hold on for the 6 point win.

Luke Barnett continues his good form in the midfield and he was very good in the contest, Lachie Jones is another who is playing well and was a big driver in our midfield along with Lochie Hoile, Zane Williams and Taj Schofield.  Callum Gaze played well in our defence, Zac Phillips was very good in ruck and around the ground and Dale Pearce and Nick Azzollini were threats up forward both kicking 2 goals.

This week we take on South Adelaide at Maughan Thiem KIA Oval from 11am on Saturday.
