Disappointing result on Saturday going down to North Adelaide by 23 points at Prospect. Right from the start we were beaten at the contest and weren’t able to get the game on our terms all. To the boys’ credit we were able to convert our chances and keep some scoreboard pressure on North, but as the game went on they continued get on top of us and build their own lead.
Josh Morris performed strongly in the back half on the weekend, 25 touches with 4 inside 50s and 10 rebound 50s showed how important he was for us. Luke McKay had 14, 6 tackles and 2 goals to continue his return to form over recent weeks, while Joe Sinor and Luke Thompson both battled hard in their respective positions.
Our performance wasn’t at the level that we have consistently delivered this year so we will get back to work ahead of Glenelg. The competition is tightening up so we know we understand we need to put out a strong game which I have full confidence that we will.
See you on Sunday at Stratarama Oval.
