Straight From The Sauce – Round 15

Sam Jacobs reviews Round 15 vs West Adelaide

Unfortunately, after needing a strong performance after some close losses to the top teams, we lowered our colours on Saturday.

We started the game really well, controlled the tempo and went into the quarter time break in front. From then on we didn’t come with the appetite to defend and weren’t at the level for the rest of the game. We had some honest conversations after the game, and we will review hard and then get back to work and look to put in a strong game against Adelaide this Sunday.

Joe Sinor led the way as captain and tried his best to get the boys going with 24 touches and 7 tackles. Jordan Lukac in the ruck competed strongly in what was his 2nd league game for the year, and Dane McFarlane on a wing worked hard and played his role well with 22 touches, 6 score involvements and a goal.

Its carnival day this Sunday, there will be lots of kids and teams playing curtain raiser to our League game, this is a highlight for our club in the footy season, so we look forward to a good day.

See you all then
