Our under 15s and under 17s finished Day 3 of the 2024 SANFL intra-state carnival in tremendous style. The under 15s team had a nail-biting match, clinching victory by just eight points over South Adelaide. Meanwhile, our under 17s absolutely dominated, winning by an incredible 74 points!
We couldn’t be prouder of the talent coming through in both teams. They’re not just making and impact now but are also laying a strong foundation for the future of our women’s league team in the SANFL W competition. It’s fantastic to see such determination and skill, and we can’t wait to watch them grow.
Huge congratulations to all the volunteer support staff, players and coaches. The Woodville West Torrens Football Club would like to sincerely thank all the parents/ guardians who have supported the players and a big shout out to all the parents/guardians who travelled weekly from the Eagles country zones to get their daughters to training and the games.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Romeos Foodland and Vilis Family Bakery for the tremendous and ongoing support to our Centre of Excellence and talent programmes.
Players will now be selected and invited to the Eagles SANFLW senior squad for the 2025 season.
