Straight From The Sauce – Round 4

Unfortunately we came up 15 points short against Central District on Saturday. After winning a final last year they have shown improvement again and it was a tough challenge, after losing the first quarter by 19 points we werent ever able to bridge the gap as every time we mounted a comeback they were able to score a goal when needed. I was proud that the boys continued to fight the game out and we were able to win the last quarter.

James Rowe was back to his best with 34 and 2 goals and sidekick Joe Sinor was his usual consistence self. Luke Beecken, Zane Williams and Josh Morris have continued on their good start to the season with strong performances. Was great see Bailey Hann debut for the club and he didn’t look out of place playing on the wing.

Looking forward to taking on Sturt this week and after a good win against Glenelg look to be hitting their straps.
