2022 SANFLW Coaching Panel

The WWTFC SANFLW team is proud to announce the coaching panel for 2022.

From left to right:

Previous Glenelg SANFLW Captain, Cass Hartley, has joined us as the Development League Assistant Coach and SANFLW Runner.

Claire Christie joins us for her 2nd year at WWTFC as the SANFLW and Development League Assistant Coach.

Matt Knight, who was the WWTFC Reserves Midfield Coach in 2021 will continue this role, along with a Development League Head Coach role for the SANFLW side in 2022.

Rhiannon Metcalfe, an inactive Adelaide Crows AFLW Player and former WWTFC player will join the squad as the Specialist Ruck Coach.

Narelle Smith was announced Senior Coach in 2021, however will also be looking after the midfield for the season.

Another familiar face at the Club, Andy Hood, will be continuing as the SANFLW Assistant Coach for the 3rd year; alongside of his Business Development role at the Club. When he’s not looking after WWTFC partnerships, he’ll be looking after the forward line in 2022.

Lastly, Shane Pill continues on for his 2nd year in the program as our SANFLW Assistant Coach, looking after our back line in 2022.

“The coaching panel we have assembled has amazing cohesion.  We enjoy each other’s company whilst having the central desire to help the athletes and bring improvement to the playing squad.  We have built a collaborative environment where everyone is heard.  We can’t wait to get started and see what our teams can achieve.” Senior Coach, Narelle has said.

We look forward to their first game this weekend in Darwin, with Round 1 officially kicking off on the 4th of February when we take on Sturt at Hisense Stadium.
