The Under 18s had a good win against Sturt on Sunday, kicking off the triple header.  The win was set up with a really strong first half where we showed good pressure and accurate kicking to lead by 54 points at half time.  We continued that form through the second half and were able to record a very good victory.

Lachie Jones went into our midfield this week and continues to play good footy finding plenty of the ball, and Lochie Hoile is another who is playing well on the ball with other midfielders Taj Schofield, Michael Frederick and Caleb Poulter all doing well.  Our ruckmen Henry Smith and Zac Phillips gave the midfield good supply with their ruck work and Henry kicked 2 goals up forward as well.  Dale Pearce and Zane Williams were also good as forwards kicking 3 goals and 4 goals respectively and Miller Carter did a lot of very strong work in our forward line to create opportunities for team mates. Shaun McNeilly played very well in our defence which included drifting forward and kicking his first goal in under 18s.

This week we were able to debut Jase Burgoyne and Jay Watson from our Under 16s and both did well and made good contributions to the win.

We have the bye like everyone else this week and will look forward to taking on second placed West Adelaide after the bye at home on Saturday 10 August.
