Rell’s Review – Round 2
Narelle Smith reviews Round 2 vs West Adelaide
Coming off a slow start for R1 we were determined to start well and play to our strengths. The first centre bounce we looked on. We showed real run and looked sharp around the footy.
We had focused on a 4 quarter effort to build some momentum from our last half of R1. It was a great team display showing our ability to score heavily whilst holding our opposition to a minimal score.
We scored 4 / 2 / 6 / 3 in each of the four quarters and showed how powerful we can be when we play a team game.
Klaudia O’Neill bagged 6 majors and was unstoppable up front with great run and support from Recruit Tahlita Buethke who was everywhere. It was hard to name the best players as everyone contributed during the match.
We now saddle up for a clash with Centrals for R3 which is always a fast and furious clash.
