SANFL Coach Report – Trial Games

With the end of our formal trial games, we had a 36 point win vs South and a 3 point loss to Centrals. We have played footy in patches which we are expecting to execute come Round 1, but as with a new coach there are still some areas of improvement we are looking to iron out aswell.

Team wise we have had some consistency in selection so performance has been at a premium and we have seen players solidify there spot and others grab the opportunity they have had. With key senior players fit and healthy, we are excited to see them lead the way with the next generation of talent coming through, a key to our success this year is the connection we have built this pre season.

We have one final match sim against the Crows this Friday, with senior players resting this will be a chance for our next generation to test themselves against a lot of AFL hardened players.
