U16’s Match Report – Round 13

This week the U16’s & 18’s had the privilege of playing  a Curtain Raiser to our League Team at home in what was an important game for the Under 16’s as Sturt were third and we were fourth. A response from the week before was needed. 

The game was tight up to half time and we had our noses in front with a 2 goal buffer. Our Third quarter was the most productive for the day, scoring 4 goals to Sturt’s 1 goal 3. The last came and to Sturts credit they responded and got back within 6 points, however our lads rallied in the back half of the quarter and went on to win by 11 points.

Whilst it was a good even spread of contributors, Logan Hughes, Declan Walshaw, Isaac Edwards, Lachie Lucas, Brock Jamieson & Rome Burgoyne made significant contributions. Our Goalkickers include Rome Burgoyne 3, Declan Walshaw 2, Isaac Edwards, Logan Hughes, Cooper McNeil, Lachie Sands & Jack Cook with 1 each.

This week we take on Glenelg at home in which will be another good challenge for us as we take on another Team that sit above us on the Ladder.
